Implementation of Package with Appartme Rent for One of the Developers

Among one developer's clients, a new audience has emerged from the beginning of 2023, consisting of investors who buy property with the intention of renting it out. This rapid increase in interest in rental market investments has necessitated the introduction of a new, dedicated service package.

Four main challenges

Quick package with Appartme Rent implementation

The rapid growth of interest in investment in the rental market necessitated the immediate implementation of a new, dedicated service package for private investors. The need to respond to the growing needs of the market motivated us to act quickly to meet customer expectations.

Training of a group of salespeople

The new package required robust training for our sales team to ensure they were fully conversant with the solutions on offer and able to communicate effectively with their audience. The task was to give them a comprehensive knowledge of the new products and their benefits, so that they were able to advise customers effectively.
3.

Preparation of marketing materials

The launch of the new package required the creation of appropriate marketing materials to clearly present all its benefits and how it works. Our marketing team worked to develop visual and informational materials to effectively communicate the value of the offered services.
4.

Implementation path

Another challenge was to plan an effective implementation path for the new package, both internally and for customers. Clear steps, timescales, and resources needed to be identified for effective implementation, while ensuring continuity of operations and minimal disruption to the process.

Implementing a package with Appartme Rent

The process of implementing the package, which included the Appartme Rent offer, can be divided into six main stages:

Product preparation for customers

We started the implementation of the package by working with our technology partner, Rent Autopilot, which enabled us to prepare the solution quickly, and efficiently from the technological side.
2.

Launching the package for sale

At this stage, we focused on the optimal commercial introduction of the solution, the preparation of training materials and customer information packs.
3.

Communication training

We provided training on how to properly communicate the functionality of the package to clients. The aim was to get the most out of the system and the rental management platform.
4.

Installation of the Appartme system

We have prepared the paths and requirements for installing the Appartme system in the new model.
5.

Implementation at customers' premises after property handover

Once the installation was complete, we organised the implementation of the system at the clients' premises after the property handover to ensure a smooth start of using the new solution.
6.

Communication and training materials

We developed and delivered training materials to support clients in the correct use of the platform, providing full post-implementation support.

Areas and results of the implementation of Appartme Rent for the developer

Remote control of water valves

The Apartment Module allows users to remotely switch hot and cold water valves on and off. This function prevents flooding of the flat while the occupants are away and reduces water loss, e.g. in the event of a leaking tap.

Heating control

Property managers can regulate the heating system remotely, setting an eco mode with minimum temperature when the flat is empty and a comfort mode when in use. This feature saves money on heating - according to a study by one developer, this can be up to 50% in a single flat - and provides convenient heat management without the need for on-site manual adjustment.

Temperature limit settings

The system allows maximum and minimum temperatures to be set for eco and comfort modes in the rented flat. This allows energy consumption to be managed efficiently while ensuring a comfortable living environment.

Lighting control

Users can remotely switch ceiling lights on and off in properties, preventing unnecessary energy consumption when, for example, lights are not switched off during an absence.

Electrical circuit control

Allows the management of a selected electrical circuit, giving users full control over energy flow. It allows consumption to be optimised, operating schedules to be adjusted as required, and safety to be increased.

Measurement of electricity consumption

This function allows real-time monitoring of electricity consumption, enabling conscious cost management, and promoting energy efficiency.

Appartme app sharing for tenants

The platform allows an app to be made available to tenants so that they can remotely manage flat functions such as heating, lighting, water, or heating temperature. This solution increases convenience and tenant satisfaction.

With these features, the integration offers comprehensive, modern solutions that support users in efficient property management, improving tenant comfort, and optimising energy consumption.

Further development of the package

Appartme Rent has been made a permanent part of the package offering. It is not only a modern tool, but also a functional one that responds to the dynamically changing needs of users. The development of integration and expansion of the offer will depend on the market situation.

Potential development directions:

Integration with new SMART devices

The possibility of extending Appartme integration to new devices in the Appartme product line would enable more comprehensive property management. Security systems or smart locks would become even more integrated and easy to use.

Energy and resource management

There is scope for advanced features to monitor and manage energy, water, and other resource consumption at properties. Users would set limits, receive notifications of overruns, and generate reports, allowing even greater control over operating costs.

Personalised dashboards

With the implementation of this functionality, users would gain the ability to create personalised dashboards where they could see the information most important to them in one place. This would facilitate quick access to key data and enable more informed decisions in property management.

Advanced analytics and reporting

With the introduction of new analytical tools, users would be able to perform an in-depth analysis of their property data, such as electricity consumption or the temperature of their flat. As a result, they would be able to better understand their investments, predict market trends, and make more strategic decisions.

Appartme Rent on the developer’s offer

We implemented the solution, provided comprehensive training to a group of salespeople, and the offering has been successfully launched on the market. We believe that by continuing to develop and adapt the package to meet changing market needs, we will be able to maintain satisfactory sales and deliver value to our customers.
